Firefighters For Christ International Event

March - Hume Lake Christian Camps
This year's annual International Event will once again be held prior to the Firefighters Retreat at Hume Lake Christian Camps. This year we have added one additional extra day. The FFC International portion will run Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon. Spouses are welcome, but quite a few people will be coming by themselves. It's a great opportunity to meet members from different parts of the world and to encourage each other to live our lives for Jesus.

REGISTRATION:
The Firefighters For Christ International Event (Thursday/Friday) is separate from the Hume Lake Firefighter’s Retreat (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). You can register for either or both events through Hume Lake Registration. This can be done either on-line, via email, or by calling (800) 965-4863 or (559) 305-7770. We would encourage you to attend both…the extra day really extends your weekend. Out of state, or International travelers can contact John White for lodging opportunities at Hume.
TRAVEL INFORMATION:
Hume Lake is located 65 miles east of Fresno in the Sequoia National Forest. This time of year snow is possible and should be anticipated. For those flying, the closest airport is Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT). Other major airports are Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco (SFO). The drive from either Los Angeles or San Francisco is about 5 hours.
From Northern California: Take CA-99 South to CA-180 East, veer right on Hume Lake Rd.
From Southern California: Take I-5 North to CA-99 North, exit CA-198 East, exit Plaza Dr. (first exit) and head North. Plaza Dr. becomes Rd. 80/Alta, continue North. At the end of Alta turn right on American Ave, then left at Cove Ave. At the end of Cove turn right on CA-180. Veer right on Hume Lake Rd. Warning: Some mapping may suggest CA-198 to CA-245. This is much longer, very winding, and NOT recommended.
NOTE: Hwy 101 is closed indefinitely due to damage sustained from mud slides from the recent wild fires.
